That’s a process that goes slowly on for years and brought from time to time on the table by different sides mainly on expert level. But now it unexpectedly was discussed by high-level politicians. But the general idea might be for Permanent participants at least to follow these issues and include indigenous voices in the discussion. Because if States will start their geopolitical games they will definitely forget that Arctic Security issues are not only about whose dick is bigger but also about environmental issues, food security, industrial influence on local communities, climate change and many other things closely connected with the everyday life of Arctic indigenous peoples.
