As a member of the Business Council Of the Association of indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Russian far East, I am interested in cooperation between the indigenous peoples of Chukotka and Alaska.
I think we need to take the initiative to establish neighborly relations between the two countries sharing the Bering Strait.
I am interested in how everything works for you, communities in villages, relations between the people and the authorities, the development of road infrastructure and transport.
Unfortunately our Chukotka in many respects lags behind you, and I think we have something to learn From you, the inhabitants of Chukotka and try to apply at home. Before there was communication between us, why now everything is “Frozen”????
Maybe we should start working together for the good of The two coasts. In 2008 I was in Alaska and San Poit (Aleutian Islands) I was amazed by your economy and the efficiency of people for the benefit of the territory where you live. I would very much like in the future to organize an exchange between young citizens of Chukotka and Alaska, so that each of them has friends and maybe companions.
